Hyperhidrosis of axilla, palm and sole

Hyperhidrosis is the body abnormal state, during which excess sweating occurs to different areas of the body. The most common areas are the axillas, the palms and the soles.
The cause of hyperhidrosis is unknown, although in some cases in can be related to certain disorders.

The plastic surgeon will examine the affected areas, will estimate the severity of hyperhidrosis, will exclude any underlying disorders and will suggest the appropriate solution.
Hyperhidrosis is mainly treated with Botox injections. Using a specific dye the areas are painted, in order to reveal the sweat gland pores, limited and controlled amounts are injected with a very small needle. The method is safe, painless, effective and last for 4-6 months.
